Shawarma meaning “turning” in Arabic, is an inspired meat preparation, where thin cuts of chicken, beef, lamb, or mixed meats are stacked in a cone-like shape, and roasted on a slowly turning vertical rotisserie or spit. We are committed to bringing the traditionally prepared Number One Shawarma to Calgary by Providing healthy and wholesome quality food to our community.

About Imperial Shawarma

Imperial Shawarma is a Family-owned local restaurant established in 2019. We follow traditional recipes passed down to us from generations from our beloved grandfather. We are dedicated to using only ingredients of the highest quality and tasteful variety so that you can enjoy the different flavours of our exquisite recipes. All our menu items are prepared using local Organic produce and hand grinded spices to create the bold flavours your taste bud is missing. Hand-grinded spices lose less oil and extract more taste bringing the best flavours and aroma while nutrients remain intact.

They worked quickly to make our food and seemed to genuinely care about our enjoyment of their products. Their chicken shawarma wrap is amazing 🤤!
